Week 7: Assignment 2

I was having difficulties getting my avatar to turn around for the photo, however, see attached a view of my avatar.
Second Life Activities

  • Teaching students to visit the library and how to utilize the library.
  • Showing students how to conduct research on literature for essays. 
  • Intimate class discussions.
  • Video conferencing for discussion on a literary piece or for additional assistance on work.
  • Practicing with vocabulary words thorough exercises that explores words using audio such as homophones with sentences.

    I think practicing with vocabulary words through the exercises is a great activity that will help students with sentence building.

    Hello Zulayka, I thought you had great ideas about incorporating second life into the classroom. I also thought the video conference for discussions on a literary piece was a great idea to get Second Life into the classroom.
